TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read carefully
Once a booking has been made a legal contract exists which makes the
person making the booking liable for the full cost of the accommodation. You
are therefore advised to take out insurance to enable you to recover any
costs if you should have to cancel the booking.
A non-refundable deposit of
£50 will secure your booking and is required within seven days of a booking
being made.
The balance is due six weeks
prior to the start of your holiday along with a separate payment of a £100
security cheque to cover against damage to the chalet or its contents.
(The security Cheque will be returned to you upon the chalet and it's
contents being left in a satisfactory condition)
If you make a booking less than six weeks before your holiday, the full
amount is payable at the time of booking.
- Terms. All terms are per week (unless your booking is for one of our
short stay holidays) and are for the chalet as equipped and described. The
takeover time is 2p.m. and the vacation time is 10a.m. unless otherwise
stated on your final receipt. You are expected to leave the chalet clean
and tidy.
- The person making the booking will be responsible for the conduct of
all persons and pets in the party and will be held responsible to make
good or pay for any damage to the accommodation, fittings, utensils,
crockery and cutlery.
- Please do not arrive before the time stated on your final receipt and
please leave by the departure time stated. This is to allow staff the time
to make ready the accommodation.
- All persons and pets should be included on the booking form.
- Booking Deposit. A non-refundable booking deposit of £50 per week
booked should be enclosed with your completed booking form, within 7 days
from your enquiry. Should the booking be made less than 6 weeks before the
holiday is due to commence then the full amount must be enclosed. Once the
deposit has been paid and a receipt issued the deposit will be for the
stated holiday only.
- Should the accommodation not be available when the booking form is
received then all monies will be refunded in full.
- Balance of money. The balance of your holiday money is payable at
least 6 weeks before your holiday begins. Your receipt for initial deposit
will show the balance to be paid. No further invoice/reminder will be
sent.
- Cancellation. You should notify the owners A.S.A.P. by telephone and
confirm in writing should you have to cancel your booking for any reason
whatsoever. The owners will try to re-let the accommodation. If they are
successful in re-letting at the price listed they will refund the balance
of your holiday money less a handling charge of £10 per week booked. If
the owners cannot re-let the accommodation then unfortunately you will be
responsible for the full cost of the holiday.
- Availability. The booking is made on the understanding that the
property will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. If, for
reasons not within the control of the owner (fire, theft or damage) the
owners cannot guarantee to provide alternative accommodation and will
refund all monies paid in full in which case the hirer shall have no
further claim against the owners.
- The owners of the above property will not be held liable for death or
injury to any persons holidaying in or visiting the accommodation nor
shall they be held liable for any loss of or damage to any property no
matter how the death, injury, loss or damage occurred.
- The owners will take every care to ensure that the chalet and its
contents are in working order and will endeavour to rectify defects as
soon as possible. You will have no claim against the owners for such
defects. Please report any defects you find.
- We regret to say we cannot accept bookings from all male/female
groups. This is a site ruling.
- It is a site rule that owners keep their dog on a lead at all times
and must always clean up after their dog.
- Rubbish must be placed in the available recycling points located on
the site.
- Wheelchair access/Disabled Persons. We do not discriminate against
disabled persons and make every effort to accommodate them. However this
holiday may not be suitable for persons with certain disabilities. This is
mainly due to restricted access through doorways (27/30 inches wide). If
any person in your party is disabled please discuss their requirements
with us before making your booking.
- Linen. Linen is not provided. Duvets and Pillows are provided. Please
bring your own Sheets, Pillowcases, Duvet Covers, towels & tea towels.
- The owners will not be held responsible for any injury to any member
of the party or any loss, damage or theft of personal effects in the
chalet or on the site.
- Vehicles are parked & left at owners own risk.
- The owners reserve the right to evict persons who ignore these terms
and conditions and/or site rules which may from time to time be in place.
In such cases no refund will be given for the unused portion of the
holiday and no claims for compensation will be accepted.
